*grins* You want to know the funny thing about turning 30? The day will come and go and you'll feel exactly the same as you did two days before and you'll wonder what all the fuss was about.

Besides, nothing is more flattering than to be 43 and told that someone thought you were 25. Age means nothing unless you let it.

Failing that comfort, there's always the fact that on Pluto none of us is even one year old yet. :P

Sweetheart, just wait till you start inching towards 40! :)

But seriously -- it's a platitude I know, but I truly feel you're only as old as you feel. Age is just a number -- who you are is defined by how you think and act. Forget the creams, and just keep your soul young. That's the most important thing. :)

You could not have read my mind any better. I too will be turning the big 3-0 this year (October, it's coming way too fast), and I couldn't be dreading it more. In my eyes, 30 is a "grown up", a "real" adult. I guess I still don't see myself that way, even with a husband, a mortgage, and two kids. Weird.
