Fine, I will put the film on my Blockbuster list, but far down the queue since I doubt it is the sort of film I wish to watch without female companionship. However, despite the fact that my chromosomes are XY, I detest boxing and am rather fond of period dresses (not on me, naturally). Now, if you'll excuse me, I have the first six episodes of The Black Adder in the DVD. :P

ooh! A hanky movie! Love the hanky movie. Haven't seen enough of those lately. Thanks for the great review. By the way, I just flew over to bloginterviewer and gave you a BIG thumbs up. Have a great weekend bella.

"Tom Jones isn't just a Welshman with a large panty collection." Reading that made me spit my tea out!

also, colin firth is the best darcy ever!

*grins* When I see a review about a movie based on a real-life story I'm always reminded of the review in the newspaper when Titanic was playing.

"My wife wants me to take her to see Titanic, a dramatic love story. I told her that we didn't need to go because we already knew how it ends. The ship sinks. However she wouldn't let up on me so we went. And guess what? The ship sank!!"

I'll probably see the movie when it comes out on DVD.

I fully agree with you and the aging makeup. That part actually made me stop and double-take for a second. It was a really good movie overall, though. Anne Hathaway did a spectacular job.

I really loved it.
